It depends how you use it. Most players use the solver after they've stopped playing for the day — as a way to see what they missed. Using it during the puzzle is fine too, but the daily challenge is more fun when you save it for a post-game review.

A curated English word list based on public-domain sources. We exclude proper nouns, hyphenated entries, offensive terms, and very obscure or archaic words, similar to the classic Spelling Bee editorial rules.

Editorial curation. Common words with regional-only usage, dialect variants, technical jargon, and rare archaic spellings are usually omitted so the list stays clean. Suggest additions on the Word Submission page.

Four-letter words score 1 point. Each additional letter is worth 1 point (a 5-letter word is 5 points, a 6-letter word is 6 points, and so on). Every pangram adds a +7 bonus. The solver sums all of that automatically.
